RO/DI Question.......................

The unit is built with the cans in reverse order (R-L instead of L-R). It's fine the way it is, a matter of personal preference by whoever built the unit. The Carbon blocks can look like that when wet.

How often do you change the carbon block? With a single like that, it's easy to forget to change 'em freqently enough and the membrane to burn up on you.

well not often enought LOL matainance must get better now that tank is right buy it will pay more attenden .
this filter like i said is not old just acouple of days like 4 5 .
It started out at 3ppm then went right up to the 100's after like trash can full.
dont know the ratings on the filters. Will look at the new ones i am getting from aqua fx
What I will do is change all 3 plus membrane and then watch??

Should look something like this plus your bipass for drinking water. Maybe someone else can draw in where that goes.

$6.00 - 75 GPD FLOW RESTRICTOR WITH QUICK FITTINGS
$6.00 - 100 GPD FLOW RESTRICTOR WITH QUICK FITTINGS

It's got a flow restrictor on it, they all do. It's for letting water leave the membrane housing in a fixed ratio.

At this point, w/o seeing the unit in person, I am leaning to shot membrane or line pressure drop.

Too bad you are up there in nose-bleed country, I'd have you drop by with the unit and we could track it down in no time....
