RO/DI question

Newbe here.

I'm using an ro/di for the first time. Just hooked it up and it's been going for about 30 min. The DI canister is only about 1/4 full. The other two are full. Normal?

How many gallons per day does the unit make?

Thats about right then. If you break down the calculations it makes just over 2 gallons an hour. Sounds to me like it working fine.

Yeah, it's rising, 3/4 full now. Didn't know schematics of how it works. I thought it would fill immediately.

It is not uncommon for the DI to not fill all the way to function properly

It is not uncommon for the DI housing to look like it is run empty. The important part is the cartridge is running full to overflow and the water has full contact with resin.
