***RO/DI selection HELP! Salt Mix HelpWhat brand is good? what do you all use?

I live in Atlanta and the tap water quality is pretty good. I test it with a TDS meter and the reading is merely 40 when the RODI water reads 1-2. So I just got a 6-stage RO system off ebay and install it in our laundry room and hook it up to a 50 gallon container.

Thats amazing robert. Guess you all don't need to buy bottled water.

If RODI meter is reading 1-2...doesn't that mean it needs a new filter?

I get my salt from Amazon. If you are a Prime member, shipping is free.

My Air Water Ice RODI was used, but I think new ones are less than 200.

Salt is one of the few things I buy locally. Even with Amazon free shipping it's cheaper locally. I have a spectrepure and love it.

Usually other way around for many people though. Theres no way a tiny outfit with overhead can usually compete with an online conglomerate....

But even if prices were exactly the same.....still usually better to go online...because its shipped to your door no gas driving worry of tickets or accidents...and also no taxes.

My LFS said they can match brs on their products...like skimmers....but unfortunately they cant offer me no tax or building points for being member of the brs club...so for expensive items....usually online is the best way to go.
