RO/DI water in Santa Rosa?

Hey folks I have recently been transplanted back to Santa Rosa from the Sac area and I was wondering if there is a local source for 0 TDS RO/DI water. I have a 210 that I want to fill and we are having water issues where we are staying. This would be a one time deal, I have a 75 GPD RO/DI unit but it isn't making water fast enough for my impatient self! At this rate it will take 2 weeks to fill my tank and I want to start moving my tank from Sac as soon as I can. Thanks in advance for any help.

Do the filters need changing or is it a water pressure issue? You could get water at Ceasars in Rosa. Grant

I'm pretty sure caesars stopped selling RO/DI, but I think they still sell real ocean water. water.

Your water pressure is probably low, get a booster pump. Or if you can locate a water regulator, you can turn it up to increase water presure to your house and your RO will perform much better.

No RO just Real Ocean. The water store on the corner of Summerfield and Montgomery in Santa Rosa has 0 TDS water. If the Unit is outside or in a cold garage that can drop the GPD by almost half Above 72 degrees is when they work the best.

Its a more expensive option, but you could also buy distilled from a grocery store.

There are two issues at play here, one it is a well and it burned through an almost new canister of DI resin in a day, and two my wife (who has never had a well before) is paranoid about how much water is wasted at the RO side.

I've got 45 gallons of RODI ready to go if you want to make a trip down. Trade you for some corals in the future?!?!?!?

Jofish in Petaluma has RO not sure if it is RO/DI...

booster pump was one on the best purchases. Put a prefilter on your RO/DI to take out more crud. It will save the booster pump too...i already burned one up because i got crud in it.

Copper pipes are better too, if you have galv or iron it's not so good.

Thanks for the offer Shane, I will keep you in mind. I am currently at my house in Elk Grove making water like a champ, 70 gallons down, 150 gallons to go. I wonder how brute garbage cans will hold up from here to Santa Rosa full of water!

I'd get the roolers for the trash casn and leave a few inches from the top. you'l need some sort of ramp. water is 8.2 lbs per gallon so 40 gallons is over 300lbs. good luck.

Well my calculations came out to 1300 pounds of water was moved on Sunday, 4 Brutes and an old hard plastic can I use for my waste water holding tank. Amazingly my F150 wasn't even bothered by hauling it all. So now that the tank is full I am ready to move everything.

Do I need to have a cycle in the new tank before I move everything or will it be ok as long as the chemistry is about the same? I plan on moving all the live rock plus the livestock and some water, am I missing anything here?

tnorthern, if you have those brutes, you can go to Bodega head at the UC davis lab and get the filtered ocean water, they are pumping it for cheap, opcourse the gas to get there and back is another story.
