Ro/DI Water Question

I filled a Brute trash can with RO/DI water (32 gallons). After it was full The TDS was 0. I tested the tds a couple of weeks later and it was 11. Anyone have any idea of what happened. Did The Brute trashcan leak something into the water?

dust and stuff from air can dissolve in water and give such reading.

Did you keep it covered??

Yes The lid was on the whole time.
