My little clarkii has taken to the rock flower nem. Takes food to it, sorta hovers above it most of the day. This normal or common?

Of the research ive done, its rare for any clown to host them because there not natural host for any species of clowns and are to small, yet again it is possible especially with a clarkii. I had a pair that hosted my condy anemone for over a year and half before i had to sell them. do you have a pic???

When your clarkii gets larger it will try to find something larger. It isn't common but I can believe it. Clarkii will get pretty defensive towards fish three times their size.

Depends on your definition of "common". It's certainly not "rare" :) If their preferred host is not available, clowns will try to be hosted by anything - torch corals, leather corals, etc. Rock anemones and condylactis are not unheard of - nor are mini/maxis or mushrooms.
