Rockwork?

Ive decided to set my 65 gal up as a fowlr and very slowly transition it to a reef. I've been out of the hobby for a long time and everything is different now. I would really appreciate suggestions on what rocks to put into this tank. The reviews that I've been reading on the various "reef safe" brands leaves a kind of "maybe it's not even worth it" feeling in my gut.

Are there some secret websites that sell decent quality and decent shaped rock that doesn't have fake coloring on it that fades in a couple months or the rocks themselves fall apart? Maybe I'm looking wrong but all I'm seeing strikes me as junk and so far the reviews seem to validate my assumption.

There are several good companies farming great live rock in Florida. I like gulfliverock.com. They include shipping in the price.

Besides maricultured live rock I use local limestone. ROughly I use about 3/4 lb of rock per gallon and it's usually roughly a 50/50 mix. The limestone I just hose off well and scrub as needed to remove any dirt. Liverock I quarantine just like anything else.
