I'm unable to make it (Due to firefighter school) but i'm very interested in knowing what we can keep in our reefs.

this is alot to ask but is there anyway someone can keep a picture log of what we can keep and where it can be found?

:reading:

Count Linda C. & Myself in. Sounds like a great experience. Please get us some more details as soon as possible as it is about 2.5 Hours for us and we would likely stay over Sat night in New London I would think.

is this considered after season for rocky neck? if not there is a $7 parking fee. I can bring 3 from granby/windsor area if anyone wants to carpool. i doubt though that i would be down there all day, probably just stop in and see whats going on at the store after the rocky neck excursion.

so does that mean we are not even allowed to park there?? gates closed kind of thing? hope not :( i will most likely be there but not exactly 100%

The park is usuall left open for public access in the off season. I will be setting up with the coffee by the left beach access walking tunnel. It's the side where the kids are crabbing all the time. Should be a fun time, I will be bring my two kids also, they love getting dirty.

like said, the beach and parking is open year round. during the summer, they have life guards, the pavilion is open, and have a lot more cleaning to do, so they charge for parking during the peak months.

it is a really nice beach, although never gets the waves that masquamicate (or however you spell it) gets because it is a sound beach instead of an ocean beach.

oh ok great!! :) wish i could bring my son with me but he is on vacation with his mother in TX :( i know he enjoyed playing in the calm waters, grabbing hermits, snails, and crabs all day.... :( will be good times :)

Sounds like a great CTARS clubday, I wish I could attend but I'll be on cape cod searching for false albacore and stripers.

Where exactly are we meeting at Rocky neck Beach. I still don't know most people and don't want to look like an idiot running around looking for you guys :)

When you enter the parking lot, go to the left side area, we will be meeting at a pinic table by the rest rooms, once we have a group, we will walk around the corner to the beach. I will have a sign up also by the pinic table if you come late.

Hey there gang. Looking forward to seeing you at the Park on Sunday. Just a question: Any suggestions on what we should wear and or bring as far as containers nets etc.? Figured if any of you have done this before we would welcome some pointers.
Thanks, :)

Tom and I will be there. Sounds like a fun time.

Photos are my main goal for the day....well, that and a mantis if we are lucky enough to find one.

If anyone has them, are nametags a possiblilty?

I could stop by a store on my way to CT and pick them up if you guys wouldn't mind wearing them.
