RODI pressure

Just installed a new RODI system and am having pressure problems. The unit is an Aqua FX barracuda. It is cold out and the unit is in my garage. Also, I have a longer water input line attached so that it will connect to the outdoor water spigot..... not sure if these are contributing factors to why my pressure is at 20-25 psi. It was running around 60 psi when it was much warmer and had a shorter input line.

Do you have a pressure gauge to attach directly to the spigot?
Attach one directly so we can rule all else out..
Water production is always less with colder source water for sure..

Tube length shouldn't matter much (if any) as far as the pressure..
The temperature should not effect the pressure either..The water in your line could be freezing though causing some issues...

But lets get a right at the source pressure reading first..
Then it would be nice if you could check pressure at other points in your house if possible..

Well..
You can buy something like this..

Or cobble one up using your existing gauge and a few other fittings..

Have you tried connecting it somewhere else to see if its just that spigot?
Maybe up to your kitchen sink? (again you can get fittings to attach the garden hose to your sink)..

But IMO you need to know if its a faulty gauge or a problem at the RO system or just low water pressure at the spigot before going any further..

Alright. I purchased the pressure gauge and tested out the spigot I had the RODI rigged to. The spigot showed 50 PSI. When I reattached the the RODI connector it showed 25/30 PSI on the RODI's pressure gauge. While 25/30 PSI is an improvement from the 20 PSI I was getting before, it is still not the 40 PSI i'm looking for. At this point is it safe to say the unit may be the problem?

Problem has been resolved! I did not move a piece that was inside the factory bad water output line over to the replacement bad water output line (longer than factory so i could funnel it outside). A representative at AquaFX took a look at my set up and diagnosed it in a minute. Thanks for the help
