RODI Question

i am about to reorder my filters and membrane but wanted to make sure my system is correct.

Since i have little space under my kitchen sink, i have been using this portable RODI from PureWaterClub for over 2 years. I have been replacing all filters every 3 months (some) and membrane every 8-9 months (starts to smell FISHY). I always have TDS 0 out to tank/drinking water...and now it got to 10 so time to change. Any input would be greatly appreciated!! The good thing about this system is that i can add/remove/replace position of all components.

take the carbon out of the di pair and run them last.....run that carbon if you must run 2 carbon pre RO membrane your not benefiting anything towards the RO membrane by running it between the di pair which is what its designed to do..

So best would be

Sediment -> carbon -> carbon -> membrane -> di -> di

yes but why are you set on using 2 carbon is your incoming tds off the hook with additives or just because you have it...if the later you would benefit more from a 2nd micron filter a step up from the .5

Incoming tds is 145

I was recommended using 2 carbons when i got this system...do i need it?

no not at all what you need to do is flush the RO membrane on a regular basis when you use it .....are you familiar how to do this and does your RO unit have a flush kit on it...
