my QT tank is not up right now. i will get it up tomorrow. do i need to QT the fish from rod? and for how long ?

Didn't have any problems with shipping. Rod ships them in a very nice insulated thermos and quadrouple bags the fish. He added a heat pack. Fish were good when I received them and the water really wan't that cold and I had them shipped to Davis (Sac) and everything was great. Wouldn't hesitate to order from Rod.

hey all, just got some juvi's from rod about a month ago...came packed in great shape (dispite the cold weather)... rod is a great guy and is usually there in the afternoons...JUST wanted to ask you all, how long should i wait till i transfer them to the main tank...one is currently 3/4" and the other is like 1/2 inch
I guess it depends on what you have in the main tank.
I got my mine about 3 weeks ago and they were about the same size. I was expecting them to be a little bigger, so I was worried about putting them in. I was concerned with securing things like the overflow boxes etc. The only other inhabitants are a couple of peppermint shrimps, a cleaner shrimp and a blue tang. Nothing has bothered them and they've done fine.
