GSMguy,
how old where you fish when you got them from Rod? Is that coloration considered by rod his high end. Not sure how he grades them. So jonesn for some ot those clowns.
that is my female. I think she is getting her black fill in . I can start to see the dark shade in the orange between the second and third strip. If this is the case, then all five of my Onyx from Rod turn Onyx, 100 %.Originally posted by ILLiDaN

Orion- I am most certianly going to try to raise them if they start laying. As of saturday night it looks like the male is still to young but the female is ready to start breeding.
She had her O...whatever out & was rubbing all over the rock & the little male was just rubbing in the anem & watching her like "whatcha doin?" then she'd run over and attack him, he'd shimmer & start cleaning the rocks but would not desplay any fertilizing behavior.
Its a real shame my ORA picasso & my rod's wont get along, the ORA would be old enough to breed & I'd have eggs right now.

I believe both the ORA picasso & the Rods are female that is why they fight.
The Picasso from another breeder that is paired with my Rods gets along fine with her.
