roggers food vs rods

I have tried both and many other marine foods and Roggers is the best for me.

Rods food seems to have chunks to big for some of my fish and some pieces to small that just to in the overflow. So more then 40% of the food cannot be eaten by my fish(tangs/clownfish/chromis). Rods food is also more $$.

Roggers is perfect and makes my fish go crazy. I truly think they know when I switch it out for mysis/rods because the effect is not the same.

This is my personal experience.

Hopefully I can get a tank up and running and buy more of your food.

Rogger's food...no contest.

I switched to Rod's for a while when I moved up here to Orlando and didn't have easy access to Rogger's food. Big mistake...I'm still fighting the algae issues from all of the extra stuff in Rod's food.

Even my most finicky fish can't resist Rogger's Food!

I used to use Rod's Reef Food. Food smells like bait. A lot of bloodline left in the food which fish don't eat. Turns the water cloudy.

Rogger's food smells great (fresh) and the perfect size for all size fish. Does not make the water cloudy.

the main problem i found with rods food was that it disintregated to fast in my opinion. i actually spoke to the owner about it when i was up at macna. rogers food seems to stay together completely. i prefer rogers food although cant completely knock rods food its great food. but rogers its definitey more affordable and easier to acquire. Its the only food i use.

I have never tried Rods, but I used to help Rogger make his food in his kitchen and I know that everything that goes into Rogger's food is great stuff. He used to and I'm sure he still does spend a fortune on restaurant quality shrimp, squid, octopus, clams, garlic, aloe, cyclopeeze, spirulina and other ingredients. :fish2:

We smelled ripe forever from our elbows down. I have been using Rogger's food since I met Rogger about 3+ years ago and my fish love it. "Now why there are two G's in Rogger, we will never know." :fish1:

No Manny, we never ate the fresh seafood to make the final product, that would have smelled even worse than the raw seafood. Good catch Andy!

LOL... Carlito (Invertigator), that responce was dead on!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!

I too use Roggers food and have used s few others in the past. Two main points for me as to why I prefer Rogger's food.

#1 The food size seems to be more proportionate for my tank residents, everyone gets a chance to eat. In other foods not just Rods. there so many small pieces in it that they cloud up my tank, and it desolves so quickly that it just seems to be a waste of food.

#2 Then comes the price, in the long run I will have saved money with Rogger's food.
This in turn means more corals and fish..

Re: roggers food vs rods

I exclusively use roggers food and love it. Rods food is good but the extra fillers and the quality of the ingredents make the difference.
