Why not convert to a BeanAnimal one if you are going to use 3?

Now that you mention it, i think i am running a bean animal style overflow. One full siphon, one to alow water and air, and a third for emergency. I even zip tied the air line from the second drain low enough so if theres a problem it will become full siphon.

Got everything i will need to finish the build today!

going to be drilling the tank for my return plumbing, this will be my first time drilling glass!

Looks good I used a 55 gallon for my sump bubble trap will not be effective if they are not water tight on the side

Thanks, I decided yesterday to pull it out and do it rite. Was yours on a 180g dt? What size return pump did you use, or roughly how much water do you send through the sump?

Yes 180 DT I have a little giant 4 on the return like 1300 gph and 2500 gph closed loop

Cool idea on hiding the return pipe!

I too have been hiding in the corners checking out what other people are doing. Now you have your very own "reef stalker" :lolspin:

Just came up with the idea to do my own peninsula 2 weeks ago. Now I have to get my husband on board with this.

Keep posting pictures!

Hi, I thought the bottom of those tanks are tempered glass. How can you drill it?

I had three holes drilled when i bought it, they did such a crappy job i knew it wasnt from manufacturer so i took my chances! It was built back in 1997 i dont know if that makes a difference.
