Rose Bubble Tip Anemone.

Streak: Be careful its not reccomended to have an anemone in anything less that a 30 gallon. Your tank also looks very new. Is your tank at least 6 months old? And that anemone looks pretty close to that powerhead.

Its right at the 6 month mark. the white specs were baby brine shrimp.. i threw in there to test an idea on fattining up the clowns but the nem went nuts for them too.. The barly purple rock i added just a month ago i had no other seed rock but it has been soaking for over 2 months got it from BRS it has 10 lbs of preimum in the toate for the other 50lbs in there with it. I sorta buried the one piece of live rock on the right side..

May shot...

Problem :hmm3:

i added a green bubble tip last night... about an hour after i put him in i noticed my RBTA closed up (i figured it's just reacting to the gbta)

then i wake up this morning to find that my RBTA moved! UGHGH is it because of the green Bubble?

Is there some kind of chemical warfare going on?

i thought that you can have any BTA's even right next to each other and nothing will happen...

Did anything else change in the tank?

Not sure there buddy, I haven't experimented with adding a different anemone to a tank. It could be pure coincidence.

How did you add the new anemone? I have noticed that anemones put off a lot of slime when in a bag. If you added any water from the bag, the RBTA might be reacting to that.

I think you must be right... I honestly did release it with the water because the retarded pet store bagged it with barely enough water and i did want to expose it to air... Thanks :)

p.s im still angry at the GBTA because he moved to where i didn;t want him to ahahahah

mine stayed in the same spot for years but moved when my clown laid eggs to close the the nem's foot. When it opened and stretched out the next day the female clown started nipping at it's foot causing it to move.

Hey guys, I rescued a baby tomatoe clown (maybe o.5 inches) out of a 3 gallon tank... he did. Not fight with my ocellaris or aninything but I only have one concern... he's hosting a GBTA (and loves it) that is behind a rock that I can barely see... anybody know any methods to bring them out? The women in my house love "the little baby" and want to see him more... hahaha
