RBTA
New member
Okay so here is the deal.
About a month ago, my RBTA moved from its spot to right onto my frogspawn. I came home from school to find it like that. The stinging of the frogspawn((Im assuming)) severed a chunk of its foot off. I was so afraid I was going to lose it. But luckily the RBTA recovered. And so did the foot chunk for awhile. ((It had gotten little baby tenticles and then vanished in my tank Im assuming it is gone now))
But the after math seems to have affected my RBTA. Its mouth isn't gaping. But it makes the "puckering" that BTAs do occasionally, 100% of the time. Its like it can't keep its mouth in its body. And now it won't really eat. It will take about one mysis shrimp at a time, completely rejects silversides and everything.
It still has a sting and its tenticles are sticky, really sticky, grab on to my hand right away and I can feel it and everthing, its more powerful then my GBTA which is doing great.
So I have included pictures to see what you all think.
Oh tank specs.
Temp: around 78
Nitrate: 10
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: 0
pH: 8.4
Salinity: 1.024
I apologize for the cruddy pictures. I can try to get more tomorrow after work.
But the mouth will swell up and down. This point was down. Other times it looks like a balloon and can be huge.
Let me know if you need any other info.
