Another stoopid iphone video. I was away in Colorado for a week and got back and was happy to see some serious growth on most of my sticks. I did lose a couple of anthias in QT but I guess I'll get over that. I did take some macros a few weeks back but have been too lazy to upload. I may have to take some new macros as things look better now. I'm still having trouble keeping alk up where I want it but it seems all the SPS prefer it low anyway so lately its been in the 6's.
My new split and now I have 2 small ones instead of one large. They are not coming out as much and its been a few weeks. I'm worried one will start roaming soon. Otherwise they look healthy, but that "nook" in my tank looks empty without that filled out nem....

Thanks, @mil, tiny frags take time. I just added a few 1/2" frags and it's like watching paint dry. Meanwhile my more established pieces show growth almost daily, go figure.....
In more depressing news, I have a coral bandit. My frag rack was all messed up when I got home today and my pink lemonade colony had like 4 branches broken off. I bet it's my melanurus, he's always power bombing into the sand lately. Could also be my yellow and powder blue that are always tail slapping......
I should start a Tail Slap Tuesday thread:wildone:

Not sure I understand. That yellow has been in there with King since my tank was up. Well, King preceeded the yellow by about 3-4 weeks. Been together ever since, and are like an old married couple always bickering and messing with eachother!
I just added 4 anthias out of the 6 I had in QT (2 died when I was in Colorado), 3 look good, one we'll see. If they all make it I'm done with fish until I get a bigger tank.......:eek1:
You need to stop by one of these days Viejo, so you can see what colorful SPS look like and good beer taste like, LOL!

Some pics from today since I was taking pics for the contest. Straight out the camera. Sorry they are so blue and washed out. I'm too lazy for photochop.
Everything is looking really good finally. I've seen more growth in the last 6 weeks than in the last few months. Please keep in mind some of the pieces in these pics were half dead a few months ago, some moreso than others.....
