Hello,
New to this, but dropped in the deep end 3 weeks ago. My mum and dad have had tropical fish for years, 25 I think.. and went into the marine, feet first by buying off ebay an established tank, well now it's two. Anyhow, I am now the carer of them, knowing next to nothing 3 weeks ago to knowing as much as I could cram in about marines! Well, the main thing is that we have a 260litre bow fronted tank with LR/fish/anemones etc. A green mertons carpet came with it with 2 skunk clowns (1 died but we replaced it) There was also a tomatoe clown who was inhabiting a very small anemone, not sure what it is. So we bought it a bubble tip, which it housed in nicely. The bubble tip hid under the rocks for most of the morning and night then came out in the afternoon. I used to have the UV lights on all the time but have since discovered that the Bubble doesn't like it and fares better if I just have them on at night. The only trouble is that the Carpet and the bubble seem to like the same area of the tank! I have tried to seperate them with bits of rock but the fish are arguing like neighbours over a fence!! The tomato tried to get into the carpet, when the bubble hid underneath the rock but got stung in the face!! I attempted to move both fish and bubble to the other tank we have but it was stressful all round. Any advice???
