Yeah, i was kidding around. It might be a walindii, indonesian tenella, or fenneri or none of those. Scientific id is almost impossible for some of these sticks unless youre a trained marine biologist with a.microscope but unfortunately, they dont sell corals. I will look into the f stop and ansel adam. Thanks.

While it may take a skeletal observation to know with absolute certainty what species it is, I still think it is worthwhile (and totally reasonable) to narrow down the possibilities. I agree with MammothReefer that A. carduus is also a good possibility. I doubt that it is an A. tennella.
Like you say, it's difficult to ID some of these lesser circulated growth forms. Not to mention the morphological differences that the same individual can show in different tanks or lighting.
Did you grow your colony out from a frag or was it a good sized wild piece to begin with?
