I am really anxious to see it running too.
All the longer for your wife to lay in wait. . . .
I am really anxious to see it running too.
Well the trap was set and I took the bait. The dreambox is up and running and is beautiful. I think the only thing she wants in return is a water softener for the house which is fine by me. I'm sure il get hustled into a few more things but totally worth it. I tried to brake down the cost to see if it was worth it and after you figure the price for the skimmer and return pump it made it a lot easier to justify the cost. The only thing that was hard to swallow was the shipping cost. If they can figure a way to get that down I think they could make a lot more sales.
Same here, as I said earlier.
Socks clog, have to be washed, clog faster as they get older. Poor solution IMHO. Never liked them.
My LifeReef sump has the covers, has the trays for filter pads and filter floss. The pads are easy to rinse in the sink and put right back in the sump. The floss or blue polyfill pad can easily be tossed and refreshed with a new piece. Protein Skimmer and filter canisters are all integrated. Probe holders, connections for CaRx, and anything else you need. I even have led mood lighting over mine. lol It's not as flashy but it works and that's all that matters to me. Plus I need to see what's going on inside. I don't like those solid white walls even though they look cool.

Very pretty dreambox but I'd much rather have that sump volume and even more so that MTC dual mazzei venturi. That is calore1's who is a respectable reefer on this site. I don't think it's very cool to compare. The two types of setups are entirely different.
So who is Scott Leif and how do we get more information about the Dream Box in the US?
Mine has been running for over a year without issue.
