Rule of thumb on how fast I can crank up light intensity (LED)

Title says it all, just wonder what the general rule of thumb is for increasing intensity. Don't want to shock my corals but want to get to a higher par as soon as possible; but safely. How much par/percentage weekly or daily?

I'm currently at about 150-160 at the highest peak of my rockscape. Looking to get to around 300 asap.

Thanks

Rule of thumb is use a PAR meter. Which you have.

However not everyone can, start low, really low and go slow, go damn slow.

What lights do you have?

The reason I preach this is because up until the G4 and Kessil AP700 LEDs had extreme hot spot and that is where the problem is. I don't think starting and acro at 200-300 is a problem. The problem is when you have places of 700+ under the lights that kill without being acclimated.

Single fixture ap700 on at 47" x 20" deep. Updated the ASM/PMK last night and I'm seeing more plausible readings from it today.

I also have the Kessil AP700 and started at 30%, added 5% every week until 50% then added 2-3% each week. My two lights are 7-8" from water.

Should be able to go to 300 par right away. If you want to go higher I would go much slower after that.
