Rules/housekeeping for Reef Central

[Tucson Reef]

A few years ago Reef Central changed or instututed a cross forum rule
That Club President was the only one that could post events and such on other club forums (Phoenix FRAG in this case). Well I am anti formal club, President, egoes, dues and such, but did start the Tucson forum and then combine it with Ed's Sierra Vista forum.

Please remember that this club stuff is what started a rift in our comunity a few years back when some wanted a real dues paying club, with regular meetings and such and thought we were disorganized. Well we still get 20-30 people show at our Get Togethers and have a great time. So I hope we don't go there again.

Well I posted a thread link to our get together on the Phoenix FRAG Forum, since we go to theirs and they used to come to ours, my bad. So we need to have a token Prez for that in the future and it would be better if they could spell detter then me, thank youy very much, lol. So if you want the Job post here. Then we can vote and you can register your name with RC so they will know you are for real, Thanks, John

John, give me a little more info on what your looking for. Responsibilities? I do have a lot of interest do to the fact that I love getting involved in this forum and would like to see it continue to grow. Though I would love to see someone like Mike take this role maybe it should be more of a neutral party not involved with a local store. RC should have some sort of a spell checker available.

I think all we need to do is vote you in as the "Get Together Prez", then you submit your contact info to RC. All it would be for is posting on the Phoenix FRAG Forum about our activities. DgenR8 sent me a PM this morn about a few things, that being one, because I posted a thread link on the FRAG Forum.

I'm waiting on an answer from him before I continue posting. I worded the post poorly (High School drop-out) and he wanted to be sure I was not involved with SEA or SWA for money or whatever. Thats why I wanted someone to take the lead, I'm too blunt and abrasive. After 10 years in the Army as an sanctioned outlaw, could never be in a "Official Club", hell I didn't even have to shave or get haircuts in Nam, lol.

Can you share the history of the Tucson forum, via pm if that would be more appropriate. I just want to know exactly what went down cause I hear so much about problems in the past

Just got the answer, we are ok for now but need to get FRAG's board to do our cross posts in the future. I think it would be a good idea to get someone to represent this forum for future board business too, make things simpler. Going back to the swap thread for now and let this one sit for ideas. I'll get with you at the swap on the history, or someone will, its been quiet for a long time , as few people got banned and started their own club.
