runningstix 58 Oceanic Upgrade

Ok here are some current pictures taken today. Sadly last weekend the paint in my overflow peeled off. It will be an eyesore til its covered in coraline now. My marco rock is starting to finally color up and lose its distinctive bright white!

Full tank Shots, Enjoy!

nice tank thread! sorry about the lyretails. yeah they need to be fed constantly which would ruin your params. in a 58g. anyway im in nor-cal and was wanting to know where you aquired the black clowns and how much? thanks.

Thanks! I got my black and white clowns from a local fish store who gets them from a local reefer that raises them. They we're $40 each. They are the best b&w clowns I have seen perfect markings and solid black! If you can't find any b&w's local or online PM Jonthefb and see if they will ship you a pair!

Very nice,

are those close up ora pics from your tank?

Those are some sweet corals. Any chance of sharing where you got them?

The large pics of the ORA coral are not mine I got 1/2" of those. I got them from gonzoscoralfrags.com he is local to me!

The tank is on the rebound and recovering from who knows what. STN and RTN ruled my sps for about a month. I lost numerous sps pieces which Im not so happy about. Ive treated for red bugs and flatworms. I wanted to add sps cautiously after losing so much of it and not wanting to flush more $$ down the drain. I hesitantly added the birdsnest from luis(tagareef) which is doing great, I added some acans and favia from reefkoi that I picked up at ReefEd. I also picked up a blue millie and a green slimer which are doing great. Everything seems to be happy and starting to grow, not sure what happened but looks like its cured for now.

Cant wait to see your new setup! I would definately be in line for some choice frags. Also if anything accidently snaps in the move, feel free to call me :) When is the move planned for?

the move will take place in the next couple of weeks. As the tank needs to be out by the 1st of June. Glad to hear that everything is rebounding... I will keep you posted!

great tank! your stand looks absolutely amazing btw.. i was wondering you wouldn't happen to have a diagram of your plumbing would you? i am about to set mine up and really like your setup with the loop. i'm just a little confused on some of the water lines(return/intake) and curious how you plumbed the sump in the pics.
