Does anyone know the best way to clean and get rid of rust off of aquarium door hinges?
Run down to Lowes and get a new set. :spin3:
wire wheel in a drill, then repaint. You will, of course, have to remove the hinges for this. If they are (or were) bright brass then Brasso or similar to get the shine back, then spray with clear finish to seal them.

It may be easier to just replace them.
I hate to be arrogant....but I 1000% have your answer.
Yet somehow you do anyway, and in virtually every post you make. At least you are consistent
!
EvapoRust eats away rust when you soak things in it. You will have to remove you hinges and soak then in this stuff overnight. Come morning you get a shop towel and wipe them clean.
This EvapoRust stuff is absolutely AMAZING. Im truly amazed everytime I use it.
infomercial?
It may be at local hardware store.....where I live its avail at Harbor Freight....but here it is on Amazon:

This stuff is not cheap but you get enough in the bottle for multi uses.
I clean up rusty hammers, drill bits, hack saw blades, screwdrivers, pliers with this stuff all the time. Stuffs AMAZING..... and I'm not being paid to say that. Its just amazing stuff that should be in everyone's toolbox
