RVRC MEET @ the store

It has been a while since we have had a meet with the RVRC. I would like to see what works for everyone. Date.
If we can come up with the date, then we can let Chris know and hopefully it will be OK if we can have the club meeting at the store. I think that we should give Chris a week or so notice, for stocking.
This store will hopefully bring the spark that this club desperatlely needed.
I would like to thank Chris for his passion and hard work in getting the store open and giving us all a real salt water store again.
OK let's post so we can get this meet going.

I'm all for it if it doesn't cause problems for HOC, very thankful that there is a store in close driving distance w/ good quality. Do we want to make it a crawl and just start at AA?

That would be all good with me but to do a crawl it has to be on a w/end.
As far as getting someone in trouble, as long as the reef club takes the initial move I don't think that RC can tell us where we can hold our meetings. Even if that meens pushing our LFS.
I would think that this is what it's all about. Without our LFS I don't think that there would be as many of us.
Like I said before, this is the spark that RVRC needed.
So after all that lets get some dates out there so that we can give Chris a chance to stock up.:D
 
I would love to be able to come. I work evenings 5-1:30. So I could only come on a Wed or a Thurs unless we have it mid day any other day.
 
Ok I'll throw out a date and get the ball rolling. Sat 18th Nov, for a crawl to the store. If you all want to do a meet at the store only then a week day is an option, I will say Tue 14th or Tue 28th.

What Thurs's? and who is Choarse?
Thursday's are tuff for me but I'll deal with that, let's just set the date.
 
Anybody else with dates, for those who have odd job hours please post with your preferred dates please.

sounds good to me, Thursday would be great. btw doc. I'm Michele, gomd is Wes. We use each other's screen names sometimes on accident. Just thought I'd mention that, I'm sure we have confused some people from time to time :) So what time are you thinking would be good Ade, since Thursdays are hard for you, I'm off all day, why don't you pick a time and we can see if that works with everyone. Michele
 
Being as we are going to the store and most of us don't get off work until 5 and the store closes at 7. I would say just be at the store between 5-7. Now there's the issue of the date, Chris needs a little time to get his coral tanks set up and running. I'll get with Chris and find out the what Thursday will work best with him. Keep you all posted.
On a side note UA has Cyclop-eeze in stock for those of you that haven't been there in a day or two and some great looking perc's.

OK guy's. Let us set a date. Being as we are so close to TG let make it 7th Dec.
I ran it by Chris and he was fine with what ever date that we want to do. I also wanted to ask if any of you all would like to do a frag raffle. That is we can buy a tickt for let say $15-20 and there will be a bunch of frags that will have #'s you pick a # from a hat and match it to the coral. In order to do this we would have to sell around 20 tickets to make it worth the trouble. Just a thought to make the meet interesting.

Looking forward to it Ade! Will there be any free Devils Hand there for the first few who show up? Oh, and NO I will not take home any leftover Devils Hand. :D Michael R
