My Haddoni won't stop moving in my tank. It has one spot in the tank where it goes in one direction then back to it's spot and 12" in the other direction. The only guess I have is that it is too big and doesn't have enough room to spread out.
The anemone is 18" or larger across. The tank is a 93 cube. I'm using an ASM G2 skimmer, MP40 powerhead, 2 AI SOL Blues, JBJ ATO, Via Aqua Titanium heater, and that's it for equipment. My parameters aren't ideal bu they're honest, I keep my parameters as follows.
Temp 79F
Salinity 1.026
Calcium 400-420
Alk 8-9
Mag 1250-1300
Nitrate (less than 10)
Nitrite/Ammonia 0
Phosphates - Don't know but don't have any algae
Anemone history - This has been in captivity for almost two years (it will be two years in February). I bought the anemone from the original owner in February of 2012 so I've had it 9 months. The tank it came out was a 180 gallon tank with 400 watt metal halides. The nitrates were high and alk was always low. It only moved one time in that tank and it was shortly after introducing it to the tank.
OK, so sorry for the long write up but I wanted to give as many details as I could.
