i just lost one of my favorite fish"tank"my blue jaw trigger and now my blonde naso"biggie"seems to be going the same route.im thinking that maybe since my mandarin died it might of released some kind of toxin into the water.

dang man :-( iam sorry to hear that. maybe we can qt her in another tank? let me know ill do anything i can to help! you have want to run some carbon or something i have some. let me know. i also have that 55 we could hook up a hang on the back filter and just do a water change and that tank should be straight.

I havent heard of a mandarin blowing up a tank. You might want to check out other things.

I agree with thor32766, I had a mandarine died in my tank and left it there count's reach it, nothing happened, sounds like the problem is something else, for sure run carbon and do all your tests. How about temp, salinity, ph, not enough oxigen maybe, skimmer not working?

i just did a water test..at first i thought my amonia was high...but after retesting with same kit and another one it came back at zero.my blonde naso is still alive but hanging by a thread it'll be a miracle if he makes it overnight.im run carbon and added amquel plus just to be safe.and btw...to ad insult to injury.my stupid allardi female decided to feed her rbta the dying naso.luckily i gaught it and took him out.she's a bia--h.
