Sailfin scar?

I just noticed this patch on my sailfin behind the pectoral fin---Wasn't there last week.

I do not know if it is a hit from reef rock or another fish or a fungus/parasite.
There has been no ich or any disease in the tank for 2 plus years and nothing new has been added in a couple of months

Here is a pic --difficult--because these guys don't sit still for portraits very easily:lol:

Do you have any other tangs? they may have got into a fight and the other tang caught it with its hook.

that's what I am hoping--there is a regal and a yellow. I have noticed lately that the regal has been snappy at the others.

The sailfin is a very nervous fish--I seem him move like grease lightning when stressed--and he might have scraped his side on the reef rock
