Hey everyone - Happy Holidays! I jjust noticed my very active sailfin tang with these blotches on both sides of it's body. They are particular to it's rear belly area. This is the only pic I could snap of him w/ my blackberry - I'm gonna try with a better camera soon.
If you can see what I'm talking about - anyone know or have dealt with this issue before? Tankmates include: a coral beauty, red coris wrasse, & 2 damsels
I can confidently say everyone gets along & there is no stress that I'm aware of. Diet is mostly flake & selcon soaked mysis/brine/spiri cubes - I have been screwing up with the overhead light being left off for most of the day for the past 3 days - I usually leave it on (10000k) from 8am to 9-10pm
The sailfin is very skittish when I come around, but comes right out especially @ feeding time - it is always in there getting it's 2-3 squares effortlessly.
