Sand Cloud

I just set up my 120 and I think I messed up. I did'nt rinse the sand and just put it in. now the water is super cloudy still 3 days later. The bag said rinsing isn't required but i think i should have. anyone else had this happen? the sand was dry,caribsea,aragonite,seaflor special grade reef sand

I had the same thing happen, dont worry it will settle eventually when the sand starts to get a biological film on it, in the mean time just try to avoid disturbing the sand bed. Eventually your sand will get "waterlogged" and you can disturb the sand bed and it will barely cause any clouding. You can run a hang on back filter with filter floss in it if you wish to speed up the process.

or you can put a filter sock in the sump on the drain line..............................

It will clear eventually just be patient. Or you can add a filtersock like mentioned above or put a sponge on one of the powerheads.
