Sand Sifting Goby Question

The goby is sifting through the sand to find some tasty microfauna to eat. They turn live sand into mostly dead sand fairly quickly.

I caught the little SOB!! But only after removing every peice of rock. It will never be the same, I can seem to get it how it used to be. Oh well, lesson learned. Thanks for all your help!

maybe try a watchman goby? and get a pistol shrimp? that's why i have. they seem to work well together.
