So I've been looking into fixing my headlights on my 01 Stratus and just can't bring myself to buying new lamp assemblies. I found a kit at Wally World last Friday that claimed it could restore your acrylic lamp housings and thought I would give it a try.
It's made by 3M.
Basically its an acrylic polishing kit you fix to your drill and grind/polish away.
My headlights looked like they were frosted before I got started and man does it rattle your nerves at first, but the results are amazing!

What's funny is that by the passenger light I was comfortable doing it and wound up doing a better job on it than the driver's side. Looks like i'll be re-grinding it this weekend.
And on a side note, if you just want to pretty up your plastic/acrylic lights you can use Crest and a buffer. Crest has a mild abrasive in it, like the Novus brand liquid polish for acrylic.
Now if only I could finnish fabricating my Zeovit reactor and skimmate collector...
