sandshifter star

got my self a sandshifter star yesterday, and after using the drip method for 1.5 hour i released it into the tank. it quickly buried it self in the sand and today its still at the same spot. its been a bit over 24 hours now. is it supposed to be at the same spot under the sand for so long? or is it just stressed ?

today it has moved some 20 cmor so, so i guess its ok. no sign of it disolving or anything.
