I recently purchased TS24. Flow is great. But, I am having a little sand storm issues. My sand bed is somewhat low, and I need to add some more sand anyway. What grain size would you recommend?
I would go with what is commonly sold as Reef Sand- 1-2mm grain size. Knop Reefbase is great stuff too- especially because it is so clean and dust free.
It seems that the sand storm occurs only in the front middle section of the tank. As I add new sand, I will add more of the new sand in that particular area and that should take care of the problem, I think.
