they tanned up nice under the halides..

Received them today and they are awesome. Seem very healthy too. Will try some feeding in a few hours. Still a bit smallish, so I'm very happy I decided to give them their own tank.

Does anybody know what these guys have been eating at DD? I'm having a hard time getting them to eat.

Give them another 48 hours. Stressed out fish will not only not eat. Give them some more time to acclimate to their surroundings.

Try the proven method of pellet's first. Turn off all power heads and feed until they stop eating. Then resume power heads.

Same thing with my Picasso's. Except it took about 72 hours, plus, for them to finally start eating frozen meals.

What are you feeding them now?

Thanks iFisch. I'm hoping someone would know what they are alreayd used to. They are to small for the pellets I have.

Calling DFS is the only way to know what they were feeding.

Reef Nutriotion Articpods is also a good food. $20 for the bottle, but will last a while and need refrigeration.

I bought some fresh scallop today and ground it up. That did the trick :) I then had supper myself with the rest :)

Necro'ing the thread...

Today was a very sad day for me, I lost one of my 1st gen photons, I have the top of the tank screened except for a small maybe 3/8" hole for easy feeding...after 5 years my male jumped through the hole and went fish jerky over night :(
