Sapphire skimmer on AP24

Hey all...

Has anyone had success with the sapphire skimmer on the aquapod 24?

I am looking at getting one (birthday present to myself) and just wanted some feedback. I hope to keep the tank looking as stock as possible so the hood stays for now...

I have one on my 12 nanocube and its worked well.

I have heard few bad things about these skimmers.....I think microbubbles during break-in was the worst.
