Saturday BBQ, who is coming?

I'll be there with my wife and daughter, maybe my Mom, too.
 
Screw this Joe! I can't beleave all these Bedwetters , no one can make a commitment 2 days before the BBQ?
If it was me I'll cancel the damn thing and screw it. these are the same people who complain about no speakers or where the money goes.. all talk no action.
as far as the bbq you can count me out... mo offence.. I can't see going to something wih only 4 people .. I barely see my wife and kids and can't justify the time....although it will be a great time with people who are going and into into the club aspect of the whole thing .. why waste the clubs $$$. Lets go fishing instead....

From the get go I said I couldn't make it.

I also was one of the VERY few people that didn't put up their hands when the first NERAC was scheduled (though I did end up going in the end).
 
I work every weekend dude so its a little tough for me sometimes. I never know if i can make a meeting till like an hour before so some of us have other obligations.
Im going fishing Sunday! :)

Why not bring the wife and kids? We'll all have a blast and anyone that doesn't make it will get to hear all about how much fun we had without them ;)
 
With the very foundation of this club starting to shake (lack of posts both here & on the private forum) attendance as some mtgs I ask where is our public relations board member?

ps. Nothing against the club but I can't make this weekend.
 
Just 'cause I cannot make the BBQ, please don't take that to mean that I'm not going to making future meetings, nor wavering in my support of our Club.

Summer time is vacation time and a lot of people have already made plans.

And, our private forum never really got a lot of activity. But, then again it wasn't created to be our main area of posting. Reef Central is where most of us post. And, we only use the private forum typically when we want to air our internal "dirty laundry".
 
I never responded because I thought it was only for people who are going. I am having a party at my house on Saturday and so I have to be there.

I made the last two BBQ's with my kids and they had a great time.

Sorry, I will be missing this one.. Have a great time..

Sorry, I'll be scuba diving saturday.
But I can say after working a while on the retail end, its pretty clear that this is not a summer hobby. When it gets nice out people generally don't pay attention to their tanks.
 
I know summer meetings are tough especially when the weather is nice. The reason for this thread was to help me determine the amount of hamburgers and hot dogs to purchase.

Our club foundation is not shaking, nor is there a decline in membership.

So as it stands. I will just be getting 30 burgers and 30 dogs. If we run out I apologize by I am not going to buy 100 of each just to throw back in the freezer.

LIRA has been listing future club events on our website. www.lireef.org . We have speakers lined up in the upcoming months as well as Family Sunday @ Atlantis Marine World.

So for all future event information will be posted in advance on the LIRA home page in the right hand column named "Upcoming Events"

So for all that are coming I will see you there.

Remember the bug spray!!!!!
 
Hello,
For those who are attending, be sure to tell the guy at the gate that you are attending a meeting at the fishing center and parking fees have been waived for those attending the meeting. I should be there early enough to make sure this is known by the gate keeper.

Also our PR guy has been very busy behind the scenes getting a number of things rolling, so worry not as Craig has been very busy and has saved the club a fortune on our club insurance (as in saved ~$1700/ year).

Hey gang--

I'm going to try to make it today... Eric--thumbs up on July's speaker on the club website--that was pretty funny.

As long as the collecting trio hasn't been scheduled yet, can I request that it's not the same weekend as MACNA? I don't know how many other club people are going to Houston for the meeting, but I am goingand don't want to miss the collecting trip. It was a lot of fun last year--
