scallops scallops

Oh, you're back to talking about the scallop? Still not a good idea....you will not be able to meet it's food requirements, it will slowly die and will foul your tank likely.

no not scallops, sometimes the market sells hermit crabs on accident like the one on liveaquaria, and also i really dont trust live aquaria neither, i ussually just use it to idenify most fishes and get their names

I wouldnt' trust them. You don't know where they were collected from nor what species. They could not be reef safe.

ManEatingGuppy,

I was wanting to get a couple for my tank. After alot of research... I decided these are not a good thing to keep. My reasoning was because I would have to keep the tank full of DT's with a green cloud just to try and keep and them alive. does not look very good for a tank. A little flow to keep the DT's moving but you will get a lot of nasty growth on your glass and everything else. If you keep a fairly steril tank such as for sps it will not survive. They do look good I'll give you that. But you will not be able to see them with the cloud of phyto in the tank. Best to not add them. If you do.... Get ready to make a meal out of them in a couple of weeks to months.
