SCMAS January Meeting

And I might add people are more polite if you are driving slow in the right lane and not the left lane. You pass to the left and if you can't get left to pass people tend to get aggitated.

We would love to see you at the meeting. All you have to do is post and come to a couple of meetings. Look forward to meeting you.

I'll be bringing some chaeto and grape caulerpa, bags for the two of you guys plus some. The caulerpa popped up out of nowhere, it's kind of attractive but it'll take over your tank if you're not careful. They both have pods in em.

NOOO, I just found out our Gunerry is going through this weekend. You ex Army guys know what I mean. I will not make this one either. I was hoping to hit some of you guys up for some buckets and such for my tank move too. Maybe I will get lucky and it will snow enough to call it off early. lol

Yeah, it's nice having to drive only across the street. Plus I'll finally get to see this monster tank that I've heard so much about.

dan, I have lots of buckets (I've been throwing them away) and 2 30 gallon trash cans you can borrow for your move anytime ok?

poupon, yeah it will be good to see you again, I need to get over to your place and see the tank also.

Where are you moving your tank to?

Moving from my house to the girlfriends. I am in the process of refinishing the house now getting it ready to put up for sale. The tank is going from Widefield to Security. Probably a mile and a half down the road. lol Last weekend I tore down a lot of the drywall and build some frame work into the garage side of the wall to put the tank in. I of course changed plans a few times while in the process and now I have more lumber in the wall then before. lol Measure twice cut once. Ready to re insulate and drywall it closed again now.

I don't think I have very many buckets to give you, but having just moved cross country I know that the more hands you have the easier it goes. Just let me know and i would be more than happy to provide some muscle.

I would get your water temp up as high as you can get it (within perameters) and then start the move that way. The water will cool off real fast. I would get some extra heaters to keep the temp about 75. Easiest way would be if you already had a tank in place and about 50% new water at temp running.

I am going to try to make the meeting. I won't be eating, as I have another local get-together later in the day (my VW club). Would you guys like me to bring anything? Are there dues owed? :-)

Sorry about the really late reply. I wanted to make sure the weekend was free first. I should be attending also, wont be eating anything, just want to check out a meeting. I will be bringing my wife and my daughter. My daughter caught wind of a much bigger tank than I have, and of course she wants to see. Anyhow, I apologize again for the late response, again, we wont be eating.
Thanks, Jake
