Personally one of the best talks i have heard. Very informative, yet fun. Not overly "scientific" and got to the point. Personally liked the analogy regarding himself and the coelacanth. Thank you Dr Richard Pyle.

Have heard some really good speakers including Saxby, Sanjay, Sprung, and the past 2 MACNA speaker lineups. Dr. Richard Pyle is by far the best. Totally agree on his belief that we must pool more of our resources into building our evolutionary genetic "library" before more species go bye bye.

As much as I'd love to attend these, I can never make it down there to OC from LA on Friday evening after work with traffic. Did Mr. Pyle say anything about where the hobby is headed with these recent collection bans? Or any other in a nut shell tidbits anyone would share from his talk?
If anyone that is a member of the club could record and youtube these meetings that would be awesome.
