Ok here is what I have as far as a roll up for nominations and declinations;

Racer69 (Todd) - President, VP, Treasurer- Accepted Nomination for President

Calvin415 (Eric D) - President, VP, Treasurer, Communications, Public Relations - will consider all

Deuce67 (Russ) - Treasurer, VP, Communications - Accepted Treasurer Declined Communications.

Reet (Rita) - Communications - Accepted

Huhhhhh (Tim) - Treasurer, Communications, Public Relations - Accepted Treasurer

ReefKoi (Chris) - President, VP, Treasurer - Accepted VP

NormanViking - Treasurer, Public Relations - Declined Treasurer

Declinations on all;

CoReefer (Eric L)
Murfman (Paul)
Leopard Wrasse (Robert)

This is the current list, with the only change being Eric resigning. There is still time for nominations.

So if we don't get at least 2 nominations for each position can the current board just elect a new board with the new persons acceptance via PM of course? I don't even see a point in voting right now, I mean nobody really cares to step up so you guys might as well just decide who should be interim amongst yourselves.

This may be the logical way to proceed as the interim board could settle all election matters, as well as any other gaps in the by laws. Plus there seems to be only 1 person per position with the exception of one I believe.

I also don't see a problem with this idea. Maybe it will settle some things down a bit.

I would still like to re-nominate Eric D. ( calvin415 ) for VP if he will accept.

I think a decision was made by Eric, and I think we need to honor it. He has his reasons and they are probably important to him. I am pretty sure that most people believe what they say and don't want to continue being badgered about it.

Well, I just got back home tonight (spent all night working on my Dad's setup) and had a box full of PM's and once I was done with those I read tons of posts. To all of you who have PM'd me and who have posted your support for me, thank you for your kind words, your support, and your vigor. If it is allowed, I'm willing to accept a nomination. However in light of the decision that we can choose one position to run for I would prefer to go for PR if that is okay. I believe Todd would make a terrific President for the Club, and to compliment Todd I feel Chris would be ideal for VP (some new blood in the "Presidency"). Like wise I think Russ or Tim would be great as Treasurer and Reet for Communications. I wasn't sure if Dan N. was accepting PR or not as I could only find that he was declining Treasurer...

So if I'm allowed, I'd like to be considered. Of course if anyone feels this is not fair, or is against what I've been asked to do, then of course I will respectfully withdraw my acceptance. Please voice if you are against me running, or if there are any issues you would like me to address before making a decision.

Again thank you for your PM's and posts, I truely would do anything in my power to help this group of reef addicts succeed, and hope to help bring some new ideas to the group and to our future members.

In speaking with Tim more, he was worried the position would be more than he could handle. We talked about it and he seems more comfortable, I probably should have let him post instead of opening my mouth, but too late.
