It's more fun that way????
One was started sooner then the other, I think?
Yep! The other one.

When I started to write this one Greg had not posted his, or I missed it. A lot of people ignore "stickies" as you can from the number of posts in this thread.

If by chance any of you going to RAP have 1 or 2 of the IV drip tubing, the ones with the little ball adjustment valve that dials in the drips per minute?? also looking for 2-400W 14K bulbs. PM me if you have either. Looking forward to this event.

hey T, remember to save me a red monti cap :) i'll bring you a nice frag~

Ben @ Marinedpot:

I was also wondering if I could place an order for frozen/refridgerated stuff and pick it up through will call? i called and your staff has no idea that there was even a will call thing going on

REEF-A-PALOOZA UPDATE:
The booth size is 10'x10'. These booths will be shared by local reefers selling frags. It will include a 6' table and electricity will be available, however you will need to provide your own extension cords. The weather has been nice in Anaheim. We still ask that if you have an EZ-Up canopy, please bring it.

You may arrive for set-up as early as 8:30 am. The event starts at 11:00 am and we would like all of the set-up completed by then.

Any additional reefers need not reserve a space to sell. You are welcome to sell and swap freely as there should be adequate space to accomodate everyone.

The raffle should be out of this world including at least 3 MH lighting systems (Sunlight Supply, JBJ, and HelloLights), at least 3 protien skimmers (AquaC and EuroReef), nanocube, and other hardware from Hamilton, USA Currents, Tunze, Eheim, ......... And of course lots of frags. Have a fun time and enjoy SCMAS's Reefapalooza.

I'll bring these if people are interested

For the raffle do we have to be there to get the prize or can we still win even if we leave early? I have a futbol tourney right down the street so if I win I can always come back and pick it up. So what is the situation?
Alex

Gotta be there to win the raffle prizes. They just call out numbers and if you have a ticket that matches, you win.

Hi,

I recently saw a deltec in action and wasn't too impress, wanted to see if anyone was interested in bringing their skimmers for a skimmer showdown.

Anyone interested? Would really like to see ASM vs Deltec vs BK vs octopus vs aquaC vs Tunze (off course they should be "rated" for similar gallons). There's a lot of smack talking from owners and vendors of the various models....but no one is willing to do a comparison and I'm not willing to wait for Consumer Report to do one.

I can bring a life-reef 3-24 and an aqua-c urchin -- anyone else interested?

Can someone give a demo on "How to Post Pics" on RC????????
That I think, would be a GREAT help to all.
Or is it just me that doesn't know how???

Just use the image tag "
".

And in between the tags put the URL to the resource. I think for most people the challenge is how to get an image online. You need to upload it to a public node on the Internet that offers serving images over http.

Some people use free services like Photobucket. Some people already have space out there on the Internet, Like me, and we just upload the images there. You can upload using FTP if your space provider supports that protocol. Or some sites like Photobucket probably offer an HTTP based upload which is exposed through a webpage.

Regardless you need to establish space somewhere, upload the image to that space, and then reference the image at that space via an IMG tag here.

for example, I used an FTP client to upload my images to a web server located on the fmellish.shackspace.com domain. On that domain I uploaded my images to the folder aquarium/miages. So the following would be the address, (URL), to an example image.

http://fmellish.shackspace.com/aquarium/images/frogspawn_macro_high_speed_720.jpg

Now if I unclude that in an IMG tag, (this is a reefcentral convention, don't get hung up on the syntax, it's pseudo code that gets translated to HTML), I get the following

"[1MG]http://fmellish.shackspace.com/aquarium/images/frogspawn_macro_high_speed_720.jpg[/1MG]"

Now If I remove the quotes and use an "I" instead of a "1" it would actually work.

Cheers
