I wasn't aware that people consider them hard to keep or short lived. I've had a candy apple for over a tear & it's growing & thriving. I think feeding is mandatory for good health. I feed at least twice a week. T5 lights & scoly is on the sand bed 24" from waters surface. Mild flow.
