Scooter dragonet differences?

Im looking to to buy a male scooter dragonet for my female, but i was on aquacon.com and it says there is 2 different species of scooter dragonets. Synchiropus marmoratus and Synchiropus ocellatus. They look almost the same to me, but im no expert. Does anyone know whats different about them and if those two species will still mate?

One is the red scooter blenny (dragonet) and the other one is the regular (brown) scooter blenny (dragonet). Thats the main difference.

really? you have enough pods to sustain two pod eaters? a red and brown won't mate i don't think. they are different species. reds are smaller.

ya, I wasnt sure if they would mate together. Im just going to wait till my LFS gets one in stock, not worth paying triple the price of the fish in just shipping. Yes, I do have enough pods for 2 dragonets, my female is fat and there is still a ton of pods in the display. She loves cyclopeze.

There are quite a few species of scooter blenny, somewhere in the 50's depending on who you ask (51 according to the last paper I read), in FL alone I have collected 3 different species but I don't know how many are actually common in the hobby.
