I have been doing some large (~50g) water changes every week for the last couple weeks and I will continue to do so until my NO3 and PO4 are lowered. The algae growth on my glass is a little faster than I'd like to see. Corals looked decent before, and they seem to be responding well to the new water changes so I am going to keep up with it. In the actual planning/purchasing stage of the AWC system plumbing. I am excited to have that done. It really is the last piece of the puzzle for this system.

Cheers
Scott

Thanks Lubeck! I have completed 3 changes, so ~120g. I will probably test for NO3 now and see if those water changes had the effect I was hoping for. Corals are looking great though :) Everything is looking great in the frag tank as well. I bought two frag racks for the frag system from Melev a while back. One came without threads in the holes for the plastic feet. When I asked him about it he said I should go buy a cheap tap and die and fix it myself... I was not impressed. Shame as the actual piece is fairly clean.

I picked up another 50 plugs and am going to make some frags of everything I can. Time to start offsetting some chemical costs :)

And some of my most recent additions!

I really love that Jack o' Lantern! Is it a slow grower? Will it stay flat or start to take a shape?

I just got it home so I can't say for sure. All the others I have seen seem to take the shape of whatever they are growing on. That's what I am hoping for, similar to my war coral.

Awesome tank scythanith:thumbsup:
Love the aquascape and the corals are amazing too!Great collection you have there!
Yeah,it's a long way until corals fill a tank:(
Thanks for sharing

On a side note, the Berghia nudibranchs did the job perfectly. The tank is near empty of Aiptasia. The only ones left are up on the return plumbing that's tough for the nudi's to get to.
