Looking awesome as always Scott, love the top downs as it helps to fully appreciate the effort you went to when setting up you scape.
I've noticed nice milli's and spath are quite commonly available nowdays which is cool for us lol. It's funny you mentioned the dramatic color shift from collection and holding stress to what you're seeing now mate, i've noticed that most finer branched milli's are usually the color you see in the store just very faded and washed out from stress but when it comes to the spath you never really know what you're going to end up with once you give it the right combination of light and water conditions. I have a piece that started out pale green and is now turning aqua blue with reddy pink tips - i say we both get a new piece of spath and take some pics of the colors over a few months.
You now have a good reason to go hunting for a new spath, the new bedroom tank will need a spath or two and i never need a reason to buy an acro.

I wanted to ask you advice on T5's if i can please Scott. What tubes should i run for 6 x 24W T5's 12" off the water surface of my 20x20x10" sump coral dump section to keep SPS happy. I can lift them if need be as i have no idea how much PAR is hitting the bottom as it looks dim compared to the 400W Radium and T5's lighting up the display above. I want to be able to set up a nano SPS tank there so no pressure but i will blame you for any future color failures............ Bello knows full well the consequences of ever offering me advice :p

I had a fiddle with a couple of your pics to see the colors without the blue washing everything out. I don't think a lot of reefers realise that heavily blue tank pics only benefit drab colored SPS, when they're bright and vibrantly colored like yours the blue hides much of the detail. Anyway i hope you don't mind (don't actually care if you do) but here's what i came up with....... :spin3:

I would snap a big branch off that blue stag while you weren't looking and just run for it if i got the chance......... :p

As would I !! Went for a dip in Nusa Lembongan today and saw forests of them. So tempting to go shopping!

Thank you very much Biggles :) I've completely agree with the spathulata it's both very accessible for us and it's a bit of lucky dip with what colour you end up with which is always fun  If I had the room to chuck another one in I'd be all for it but unfortunately it's full but if I do put one in the bedroom tank I'll make sure I get some progress pics

At the moment on my bedroom tank I'm running a 6x39w unit that I'm running all ATI tubes in, 2 Blue Plus, 2 Coral Plus, 1 Purple Plus and 1 actinic. The reason I've gone with that combo is that I have a friend that had a tank running that same bulb combo and some of his colours were amazing. I would understand completely that it would look dim compared to your 400W Radium so what I would suggest is maybe swapping either 1 or 2 of the Coral Plus tubes for AquaBlue Special which are a more white than the Coral Plus. That's just my suggestion so don't you go blaming me coz it all comes down to a bit of personal preference as well so I'll just pull the old DENY DENY DENY trick :lolspin:

I don't mind about you changing the pics either you can turn them all brown for all I care  but I do agree with that too the blues don't really help the cause especially when most of those pics were just iPhone pics, it's also very difficult to take top downs when you have 16 T5 tubes hanging above your tank there's only certain angles you can take pics from :)

The big massive blue tip stag is actually the one coral that looks awesome in photos even with the iPhone but not so in the flesh, it's more so what they call a dirty purple stag but if you would like some I'm more than willing to part with a nice chunk as the thing grows like a weed

:furious:I hate you scott buddy:furious:
