Scribbled Rabbit and Lo Foxface together?

Can rabbitfish and foxfaces live together? I'm trying to figure out the rest of my stock list and I have one 1.5 inch scribbled rabbitfish (yeah... she's such a cute baby!) and I was wondering if she could co-habitat with a foxface (particularly either the Lo or one spot) peacefully.

and would I need to find one near her size or have better luck if it was also a juvenile. Any experiences with this?

I would say "Yes!"
These are my two in a 120gal reef system.
They get along very well. So well, in fact, that they do the "air gulping" together.

Yay! How big were they when you added them in comparison to one another

I've had the foxface for a couple of years and just added the rabbitfish this fall.
The foxface is almost an inch bigger than the rabbitfish, but there has been no aggression between the two fish.
My angelfish is the "bully" of the tank, but there's been no real issues between any of my fish.

Surprises me, but definitely a pretty pair. Size of tank will matter in a major way: this is definitely a species that does not like to be crowded.

Agreed.
There's no way I would try these two together in anything smaller than the 120gal at their size; 3-1/2" and 4-1/2".
As they grow, I will have to make a choice between upgrading the tank size or relocating the fish.
But so far, things have been great.
The foxface is a tremendous algae eater and the rabbitfish is one from my "must-haves" list.

What sized tank? Corals?

85 shallow (48 x 24 x 17). So because of the territory thing i am thinking not.

In a very long tank, perhaps. But it would be risky in this sized tank. Also, remember that if you have corals, when rabbitfish or foxface get hungry they eat the zooxanthellae in corals.

Yeah, i feed three times a day and always have nori in the tank. I am hoping thats enough food to save the future zoa garden. Lol

Nori should work to prevent any "casualties" in the zoa garden. The issue is that algae eaters normally do not process food very efficiently so they have to eat constantly in order to get the nourishment required.

Until I have my foxface and gold spotted together I had doubt. But apparently they don't mind it at all.
