Hello SCRK-

Its that time of the month again.

The next Southern California Reef Keepers meeting will be Sunday, June 22nd, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Age of Aquariums in Signal Hill, CA !

If you haven't purchased your membership for 2014 we could really use the help! And at just $25 per year those funds goes along way to provide entertaining meetings, raffle prizes, food and snacks, speakers, etc.

We'd like to try something new to spark new membership so if you bring someone new and they join the club, you will get 5 FREE raffle tickets for the referral.

This month the topic will be Member's Lighting 101. The plan is to have a group discussion on different members lighting and what corals they are currently keeping under them. This will give us a chance to learn from our other members and have a discussion.

**We plan to have a power point presentation so if you have a photo you can send of your tank, please post with a snapshot so we can add it to our slides.

RAFFLE! We are going to have another great raffle this month. Items include a Bubble Magus Dosing Pump, IM 8 gallon nano tank, Chevron Tang, and several dry and live goods.

Chance of Corals once again is donating some items. Thanks guys!

As far as Raffle Corals, we are going to have a TON! Donations from JW, Crystal, Two Guys Corals, and Age of Aquariums.

I have been away from the reef scene for a few years. Hearing about current members lighting upgrades sounds like a great discussion. Plus, seeing the Age of Aquarium tanks is always awesome! I'll mark my calendar (:

Awesome come on by.

Here's my tank from today... not the best photographer but better than my iphone anyway. If anyone has a tank shot please post so we can share at the meeting.

Cody, I still have your trap. Are you attending the LARS on June 15? If so, I can give it to you then. If not, I can give it to you at this meeting, hopefully I can make it. BTW, tank looking really good.
