SCRK Meeting! Sunday, March 27th, 2011!!!

Hey Everyone!

We'd like to welcome everyone out to our March 2011 Southern California Reef Keepers meeting! Due to IE- Coral Farmers Market, we have moved the meeting to next Sunday, March 27th (instead of the normal 3rd Sunday of the month).

Kevin, with the Marine Aquarium Expo (MAX), will be at the meeting to talk about what everyone is to expect at the show this April 2 & 3rd, 2011 at the fairgrounds. They will be offering SCRK members a discount on admission, but more importantly a BOOTH FOR OUR CLUB complete with a frag tank for club coral sales!!!! This a wonderful opportunity for us to increase our membership and sponsorship opportunities! Please come out if you have some time that weekend to man the booth, hang out, sell some corals ($10 donation), whatever... lets just take advantage of this!

We will also have an open discussion during this meeting where we can go over potential field trips, meeting topics, suggestions, pest discussion, questions or concerns about your tank if you have any, basically anything reef related that comes to your mind is fair game!

As usual, we will have a raffle, food, and a member frag tank for buying, selling, and trading corals.

I was thinking the same thing. I just gave all my gsp away with frags i sold. It looked pretty neat under LED Actinics, i didnt really notice any difference under 14k LEDS.

I have tons of GSP, I'll give you a bunch. Do you want it glued to a rock or just some peeled off GSP that you can glue where you want?

I went swimming in the shallow white sand beach yesterday and saw the most amazing blue tip sps colony with yellow base. it was the size of my head and also a favia the size of my car!

Im going to start my scuba cert tmrw but bought snorkling gear for today to take pics meanwhile. I miss you guys.

What color ricordeas do you have? Any other zoas?

2 are on 1 rock. 1 is blue/orange the other is multicolor. Zoas, I have the Blue Eyed Blondes or Blondes B****** w/ Blue Eyes....whatever they are. Why didn't they just call them Pamela Anderson's. :lol: On second tht she wasn't a natural blonde.
