If you are already putting him in quarantine, why are you torturing the fish with chemicals before hand??

Cause I don't want I risk any diseases coming until my system. The formalin bath is part of my quarantine protocol.

Lineatus super male in ttm cause the other one i got earlier died from rotten mouth disease and live aquaria replaced him. This one is active and swims all day unlike the last one that day in a corner.

Please describe the formalin bath??? That is pretty toxic stuff!

1ml per gallon of water. i usually have a bucket with 2 gallons of water so 2 ml of formalin. Well aerated and let them stay in there for 45 minutes. then into TTM. so far all the fishes i got handled it well.
